Royal Tulip Luxury Hotel, Kufri, Shimla, Shimla

The hotel had some drawbacks, like the rooms not being ready with basic items like towels, giving it more of a three-star feel. However, the location is really good right at the highway from Shimla, although being a bit far from the main city. The dining experience was quite good with a fair amount of variety, while the service felt lacking compared to the number of guests present.

The hotel is situated right on Kufri Road, away from the crowded areas, which is fantastic. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate 5 adults and 1 infant with two bedrooms and a common living area, but the absence of basic items like towels was a downside. The service was very courteous, especially Ms. Rohan at the restaurant, though there were some issues that caused a disconnect from business activities. The location is amazing, being right at the highway from Shimla, but it becomes challenging during snow-covered times. The dining experience offers a good variety of both veg and non-veg dishes, with room for quality improvement and more variety. The facilities include a centralized heater system for comfort.

The service was very friendly, especially at the restaurant Rohan where we enjoyed a good breakfast and well-sized rooms. The dining experience provided a variety of both Indian and Western cuisine options. However, accessibility to the hotel may become challenging during snowy conditions. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service and delicious dining choices.
